Now I agree that the possibility of a staphylococcal disease seems more likely especially with no frank arthritis, and desquamation of the skin where the erythema was found. It still cannot be labeled as Toxic Shock syndrome for the simple reason that there is no shock. Was Cloxacillin started and hence the remission?.
Sterile Blood culture again is a surprise especially with the information that no antibiotics were given earlier.
